Nestled at the western edge of the Bighorn Basin and along the Shoshone River, Jeff Woolridge and his wife Bridget founded Backcountry Mechanical - a family-owned and operated residential and commercial plumbing and heating company in Cody, Wyoming.

 

Jeff was at a point in his plumbing career where he wanted to take his 15+ years of hands-on experience in plumbing and heating and pursue the business side of plumbing. With a growing family, Jeff also wanted to have the ability to better serve families and businesses in the Cody, WY region through his plumbing experience.

Jeff first started working in residential plumbing service in 2008 learning the basic skills of the plumbing trade and running DWV, running wastewater, and installing fixtures. 

 

He then moved into commercial plumbing, working under a master plumber installing, maintaining, and repairing hydronic systems, boilers, VAVs, and chillers. 

 

He continued to work in commercial and residential plumbing for 15 years. 

 

Jeff brings a different style of plumbing to the Cody area. He has extensive plumbing experience in working with both large and small companies which is a unique skill set in the Cody area. He’s worked on beef processing plants, a Bell Brands cheese factory, large schools, correctional facilities, medical facilities including hospitals, and airports.

 

He specializes in mechanical rooms, boilers rooms, and water service entry rooms.

 

With 15+ years of commercial and residential plumbing experience, Jeff understands the challenges customers face and is here to serve the greater Cody, Wyoming region.
